Caring for our Scenic Rim communities

Posted: 8th May

Servicing the Scenic Rim for over 30 years, Beaucare provides a range of services including Aged Care, Disability Support, Family and Youth support, Family Day Care and In Home Child Care. The community centre based 44 Tina St Beaudesert provides additional services and support to the community including financial counselling, emergency relief and space for community groups to meet.

General Manager, Louise Dwyer said Beaucare is committed to providing services to the community.

"The Assessment Referral Intake and Advocacy team will support each client to link with Beaucare programs or provide information and advice including referrals to specialised services for issues including disability/NDIS, aged care, mental health, drug and alcohol, elder abuse, domestic and family violence.

“If our staff are unable to assist through our own programs, we link the client in with another agency who provides the services and support they need.”

"We will work with our community partners to ensure that community members get the support and information to help them make the best choices about their life," Louise said.

“Beaucare has a strategic goal of being an employer of choice and we realise it's important to invest in their people. We employ more than 80 people and  see the value in providing our employees with professional development, and promoting well-being and work life balance.

"We recognise that to provide excellent service, we need to employ excellent people, and we are proud of the support our team provides to our communities, and we know this high quality care would not be possible without our professional employees and volunteers."

"Our volunteers make a great contribution to supporting our services and really help to improve and expand the range and quality of supports we can provide.

"We are always on the lookout for new volunteers, so please check our website for further information if you're interested," Louise said.
